Welcome To…

Here’s a little bit about me. I live in Meridian Idaho with my husband, daughter (a BSU undergrad), and our two dogs. I was born in Alameda California, have lived in Frankfurt Germany and traveled throughout Europe and also lived a few years in Ottawa, Canada. My family came to Boise in 2003 from San Jose, California. It was time to get away from the pressure of high technology to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle, especially fewer people.

By day, I am a contract technical writer working with the Forest Service at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) in Boise, Idaho. In previous adventures I have worked in various high-technology R&D environments in Silicon Valley, and worked as a contractor for the State of Idaho as a writer, training developer, and business analyst.

Outside work and school time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, beading, reading, and hiking.
